Current Owners Tony and Melissa Hakenwerth began in the business of fire protection in the Wentzville area over thirty years ago.  As the owner of HFS Design, a family-owned fire sprinkler engineering firm for over 21 years, his goal of quality fire sprinkler services and continuous improvement led to a new venture.

The best way to know that the expertly engineered fire sprinklers are working properly is to install and maintain them ourselves. We are a full-service fire sprinkler system company located near Wentzville, Missouri.  Our professionalism and commitment to safety and quality is evident in all our relationships and fire protection solutions.

Tony is certified as NICET IV in Water Based Systems Layout. This is the highest, expert-level certification for professionals designing complex fire sprinkler systems. It requires 10+ years of experience, expertise in advanced hydraulic calculations, and project management, including supervising other fire sprinkler system designers.

The AFP team members are also current on proper certifications and undergo regular continuing education to keep up with new developments in the industry and regulations.
